back to a regular 'work' day!...the zipper needed to be taken in for this madina vadache gown. now it is even too small to fit 'zoe', my dress mannikin! so it was finished, and i delivered it to the
store, and on my return what was waiting for me?
this! firefly, the series!
i had the 'firefly' series on dvd on my christmas wish list, and also on my half.com 'wish list', so when it popped up in an update in my e-mail, i decided to go ahead and buy it for myself. and at a deal for 22 bucks, brand new, still in the wrapper, and only $2 to ship...it was around 40 bucks in the stores! it came really fast, in only four days, and from colorado at that! it either got out of there before the blizzards, or they have some seriously dedicated postage workers! and note to myself, for next time we get two inches of snow, and i whine about it, i will just remember the images from the news last night. the people had snow well above their waist! and the poor cows! enough! i forgot, i'm bloggin' here! i got the 'little shop of horrors' dvd at the grocery store on the way home. i saw this one when i was a kid, and thought it was great... and it has a very young jack nicholson in it, very briefly as snack food. the photo on the cover is misleading!
