so many posts, so little time!

o.k.! getting back to sewing, since i have so many dresses to sew these days! i have organized them here, in this shoe holder on one end of my dress rack...it is working out pretty well, and i am kind of proud of myself, since i don't do organized very well, usually! there on the left are all the cut out flamingo pink 'bubble' dresses, and also a red one, and a bronze one, both that are rush...they are almost ready. i just have to finish up the red one, and then deliver them both tomorrow. and then the other end of the rack has all the alterations...the photo came out very blurry though, and it didn't seem interesting enough to try to take over again!









these different fabric pieces are all the ones i have picked up the last few times i have had to go to the fabric store to just pick up a zipper or ribbon for a dress...this is turning into very expensive zippers and ribbon! i go in and come out with 15 bucks worth of stuff! but it is too cute! these little patterned cotton prints have become my weakness! most of them i am thinking i will turn into aprons or tea cosies...i am having a lot of fun sketching up ideas for them! except for the dragons and spider mums on the lower left...those i bought for an idea for embellishing another one of my jeans jackets. i want to put a bigger, maybe embriodered or appliqued, dragon on the back, and those prints will go other places on it as embellishments, somehow. and most likely with beads, too! if you click on the picture it will get bigger, so you can see more detail in the prints, if you want.
