across the whoniverse

sometimes i work on a costume that is just very odd, or a halloween costume that is really out there.  i think at those times, "well, this one won't be topped."  and then, something comes along and tops it...totally.  well, it may take a long time to top this one!  a dalek bellydance costume!   in case you don't know, (i didn't) a dalek is a character in the long-running show "dr.who".   the costumes are still in the creative stages, and i have a whole week and a half to finish it!   it will be used in an interesting production by the fuzzy monkeys, a local bellydance group that does very interesting and different non-traditional bellydance.  at med-fest this year, the student troupe did a dance dressed as zombies...with veils!  you can see a youtube of it here. i can't wait to see what is going to come out of this one!
