we are all stuck at home from the most recent snows...we got even more than what i posted in the last post! no schools are open today, and my daughter's work told her to go ahead and stay home. my husband did make it home last night after the seahawks game...it only took him 3 1/2 hours to drive the normally 30 minute drive from the stadium to our house! we live on a fairly high hill and it took an hour and a half just to make it up the hill! but at least he made it...there were people in the area that never made it home from work, they gave up trying, and just slept in their cars on the side of the road! brrr! we don't get snow enough here, so when we do, we are just paralyzed by it! the roads are still very icy, and so the news has been telling people not to go out unless you REALLY need to...yes, we are snow wimps!
i took a walk this morning and took photos to post, but they are not downloading for some reason. our phones are not working properly either, so i don't know if that has anything to do with it, or even if the snow is to blame for that, too. but my mom, on whidbey island, has not had power for the past 30 hours or so. i was supposed to move my daughter back home today, but there is no way i am going to drive that big truck on THOSE roads! yes, i'm a snow wimp!
