here is the project i worked on today...this is the most expensive dress i have ever worked on thus far in my alterations sewing! the designer is elie saab, and it turned up on the cover of the 'seattle bride' magazine's 'best of 2006' issue. also in the issue, was one of the dresses i sewed on for madina's line last season. i get a thrill when something i had a part in sewing is in a publication...not sure why, it's not like it's mine! but, you know oscar the kitty had a great old time playing hide and seek under this dress!

yes, layers and layers of tulle, with tiny sequins, and gold embroidery that you cannot really see very well in this photo!
