kind of a weird shot...this is a mural i painted in my master bath. i thought i would periodically throw in a shot of a corner of my world. the shot was hard to get because the room is so narrow. i love georgia o'keefe, and pink, so these 'pink lilies' (even though they are really white lilies!) went into my bathroom when i dispatched the white walls in that area of the house. my bedroom walls are cranberry and lavender, so this goes well with them. the background in the original painting is pink, maybe that was why it was called 'pink lilies'...or maybe i just remembered wrong, and that was the name of a different painting all together! the rest of the room is the cranberry red color. i love getting ready for the world in this room in the morning!
