this weekend was my hubby's birthday, and i make his favorite cake for him every year. it is the best cake recipe i have, i think! even my stepdad, who has a different idea every year for his birthday cake, said this year, "maybe we might just have to do this one for my cake of choice for birthdays, too!" it is a pretty old recipe, i clipped it from a magazine in the 80's, and i know it has been around even longer than that! 'rave reviews coconut cake'...mmmm!

Hi Cindy, !Yummy!, I need to try that cake recipe.. I love coconut.. That dress is So vintage... The lace is fab.. I am a lace girl anyway... What a treat to see it thanks for posting... Glad you got your computer back.. Gosh it is spendy these days to have them messed with!!!

oh, you cad, you! How *could* you post such a wonderful photo of one of my all-time favorite deserts!!!! One that i dare not bake, since i am the ONLY one in the house that likes it, and therefore would be the ONLY one to eat it. And yes, i probably COULD eat a whole coconut cake all by myself! LOL! :D
