man, i hate snow. it snowed AGAIN today. snow sucks! here it is falling again...my sister said i should do a rain dance. i will try anything at this point!
and then here is more white. (i promise to cease and desist with whining about the snow, or as we have been not so affectionately referring to it in our house, the bleeping snow...insert expletive of your choice.) i started in on some more wedding dresses again, although they have been hanging in my work studio for a while now. they are for 'next year'...next year is in less than a week now!

this one is a reem acra, it has lots of pretty beadwork on the top. it needed the shoulder straps shortened, and the hemlines all taken up. i have been working on general alterations and belly dance things for so long, it felt nice to rip into a big white dress again!

I can't believe all the snow! I'm actually in Utah right now, and it looks exactly the same - but they clear the roads here so you aren't stuck at home the same way.

I'm going to have to start doing research on animal track recognition at this rate. (How can you tell what is squirrel and what is raccoon, etc?)

I'm sick of snow too. We had that blizzard this past Sunday which dropped megatons of snow. I hate winter!!

SO, what have we learned? In the emergency food box (with the requisite food for four for a week and water, flashlights, etc.)we must also put WINE! Lots of wine!

I also chuckled at the adventures of your intrepid daughters. Did they hear you giggling? Were they still speaking to you after they did?

b.b. ~ but we learned that if you stock lots of wine, (they bought four bottles that night) then you drink lots of wine! (we drank them all...bleah!) they DID hear me laughing, and they were still speaking to me later! lol!
